Woman reports rape after being approached by 3 men at bus stop in Tunbridge Wells

A woman has reported being raped at a bus stop after being approached by three men.

Police are appealing for information after the incident said to have taken place between 11pm and 12.45am last night close to the junction for Eridge Road and Summervale Road in Tunbridge Wells.

Detective Sergeant Jo Hazelwood of the west Kent vulnerable investigation team said: "We are continuing to make a number inquiries and are appealing to anyone, who may have heard or seen anything suspicious at the time to contact us.

"It would have been very dark at the time when the reported rape took place and we are particularly keen to hear from anyone with information which may assist with the description of any suspects."
