Tunbridge Wells: Emergency services called to incident in Grove Hill Road

Residents living in part of Grove Hill Road, Tunbridge Wells have been told to leave their homes while emergency services deal with an incident.

Police, fire officers and paramedics were called to the residential street just after noon today following concern for the welfare of two people at a flat.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "The occupants of neighbouring addresses have been asked to temporarily leave their homes as a precaution while SGN engineers attend to check the premises."

Bradley Barlow, a spokesman for SGN said: "We were called to a property in Grove Hill Road in Tunbridge Wells by the emergency services earlier today. We attended in our capacity as the gas emergency service provider in the south of England."
