Witnesses sought after alleged sexual assault in Sandrock Road, Tunbridge Wells

Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted near a town centre.

The victim was walking along Sandrock Road in Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday (November 5) when a man approached her near the junction with College Drive.

He reportedly touched her inappropriately over her clothes between 6.30pm and 7pm before leaving the scene in the direction of the town centre.

The suspect is described as a white man, around 5ft, of slim build, wearing a dark Adidas hooded top and gloves.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or who has dashcam or doorbell CCTV which may assist the ongoing investigation, is urged to call the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/189328/24.
