Police have the details of 109 vehicles which used a major route around the time of a fatal hit and run.

Officers are urging drivers who travelled along the A26 between Southborough and the A21 Tonbridge bypass from 1am to 1.40am on Saturday to come forward.

The appeal comes after 24-year-old father-of-two, Carl Radmore, was tragically killed when he was hit by a vehicle on the A26 slip road.

The London-bound carriageways were closed from Bidborough Ridge junction to the A21 for more than 12 hours while emergency services worked at the scene.

The family of the former K College pupil, from Tonbridge, has called for the driver of the car that is believed to have hit Mr Radmore to hand themselves in.

They said Mr Radmore was a father to two young children who was just beginning life and his death has left his family devastated.

"Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information which may help us is asked to call 01622 798538, or e-mail

quoting incident number 08-126.

"Alternatively, witnesses can leave information anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111."
