An injury forced Strictly Come Dancing contestant Will Bayley pull out of tonight's show.

The paralympian, from Tunbridge Wells, was unable to take part after hurting himself in training.

A statement from the TV show said: "Sadly Will Bayley was injured during training and medics have said he cannot dance in the show this weekend.

"Under the rules of Strictly Come Dancing, Will has been granted a bye to next week.

"Separately, Alex Scott's partner Neil Jones received an injury whilst training this morning.

"Kevin Clifton has stepped in the partner Alex in tonight's show."

Strictly judges were left in tears after hearing of contestant Will Bayley's childhood cancer.

He was earlier voted through to week six after an emotional contemporary dance with professional partner Janette Manrara on the hit show.

He scored 32 points, gaining his first nine, placing him sixth on the leaderboard.
