FIRE crews from Tunbridge Wells raced to the town's B & Q Superstore in Longfield Road shortly after 8am today when a small fire broke out in the lighting department.

Staff and customers were evacuated and the fire was put out using hand-held extinguishers before the firefighters arrived.

The 104,100 square feet store opened in May this year.
