Tunbridge Wells Dudley Road double stabbing: Police charge 17-year-old boy

A 17-year-old has been remanded by magistrates after two men were stabbed in Tunbridge Wells.

Dudley Road was cordoned off after the incident on Wednesday evening.

The teen has been charged with two counts of wounding with intent and one count of possessing a knife blade in a public place.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court today, where he was further remanded to appear at Maidstone Magistrates' Court next Wednesday.

Two men, aged 19 and 22, were found to have sustained injuries "consistent with stab wounds".

They were taken to a local hospital, and their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
