Firefighters called to blaze at restaurant in London Road, Tunbridge Wells

Firefighters were called to a blaze at a restaurant yesterday evening.

Three fire engines attended the scene in London Road, Tunbridge Wells, just after 6pm.

Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which was in an outbuilding.

The blaze is thought to have started accidentally after hot items were disposed of in a bin.

It had been put out by 6:23pm and there were no reported injuries.
