Urban Outfitters is set to open its second Kent store in a former Topshop.

The US clothing and lifestyle brand has submitted a planning application for advertising signs at the unit, in Claverley Road, Tunbridge Wells .

The new store will move into the former Topman and Topshop unit
Urban Outfitters' sign plan

Urban Outfitters was founded across the street from the University of Pennsylvania in 1970 and has gone on to open more than 200 different stores across the UK, United States and Canada.

Its sole store in Kent is currently at Bluewater shopping centre.

The plans, which can be found on Tunbridge Wells Borough Council's website, explain how the Topshop signs would be replaced with new branding, without negatively effecting the Conservation Area it sits in.
