An international speaker will be sharing experiences of her crisis of faith after the sudden death of her husband.
Michelle Nanouche will be holding a talk in Tunbridge Wells about her personal journey to God after having her faith tested.
She had been a practitioner of Christian science, helping others finding wellness through turning to God in prayer for 10 years before her husband suddenly passed away in 2000.
Michelle has lived in France for the past nine years, but travels across the world sharing her experience and knowledge of christian science.
She grew up in a church and Sunday school that introduced healing prayers into her life.
"I experienced a dramatic healing experience at the age of 12 when I impaled my foot on a rusty nail" - Michelle Nanouche
She said: "I experienced a dramatic healing experience at the age of 12 when I impaled my foot on a rusty nail. I prayed for myself and thought I'm going to test everything that I've been taught.
"By the time I woke up the wound was almost closed, it was nearly healed. There was barely a trace of the nail going into my foot.
"It definitely woke me up and taught me to pay closer attention to healing prayers and my faith."
Michelle's seriously questioned her faith and everything she previously believed in after the sudden passing of her husband.
The mum-of-one added: "It was quite a shock to me, it really sent me examining what is this God that I had spent so much time developing a relationship with. Where was god when I needed him.
"Ultimately what came out of this crisis was evidence of the flawed sense of God as a man on a throne that I was holding on to. It is what was causing me to suffer."
Michelle said that she was brought out of her rut by a phone call from a friend that put her back on track. She added: "A friend called me one day and asked me if I was angry with God, and it was exactly how I was feeling.

"It made me realise that I needed to get a better sense of the principle of god, and that is the track I took to re-connecting with my faith."
The world-wide speaker will be holding a talk at First Church of Christ, Scientist in Linden Park Road, Tunbridge Wells on Thursday June 26 at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
In her talk, Michelle aims to share her experiences and discuss opportunities for others to identify their faith and beliefs. She offers tips on developing this spiritual sense through regular daily prayer.
Michelle trained and practiced as a Christian Science Nurse for 10 years before changing her focus from nursing care to the practice of Christian Science and has lectured on the subject of prayer and healing throughout the US, Europe and Africa.
