A Thai restaurant has been forced to closed due to the cost-of-living crisis.
Asian eatery Thai Lemongrass in Tunbridge Wells has permanently shut its door after losing money for the past few months.
The restaurant, which could be found in London Road, Southborough, says the economy has had a greater impact on them than the coronavirus pandemic.
Telling its customers of the sad news, a spokesman for Thai Lemongrass said: "It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our restaurant is permanently closed.
"Since the beginning of the year, these past months have been incredibly difficult for us.
"I am sure you are aware of the cost of living crisis and it has impacted us greatly as a small business, even worse than the pandemic.
"We were losing more money than we were making which is the sad reality for a lot of small businesses.

"It has left us with no choice but to close down.
"We very much appreciate every single customer who has ordered a takeaway or dine in with us.
"We had so many loyal customers who ordered from us every week and have made friends for life.
"Our Thai chef, who is 61 years of age, loved cooking and always will. He received a lot of happiness these past years and that is all down to our wonderful customers support.
"Thank you very much and please take care of yourselves."
Customers thanked the restaurant for all their hard work and delicious food.
Catherine Gallagher said: "Noooo! So sad to hear this. Been coming to Lemongrass for many years - thank you for all the delicious food.
"Any chance you could continue in some way? Maybe like doing a pop up Thai themed event now and again?"
While Linda Knight added: "So very sorry to hear that, we loved your food and will miss you. All the best for the future, take care."
Amanda Turvey commented: "Oh no. We are regular customers and are so sad to hear this.
"We loved your food and so glad we had one last take away this week. Wishing you all the best."
