A motorcyclist has been hospitalised after a crash in Tunbridge Wells this morning.

Emergency services were called just before 7.30am to the collision involving a car and a motorbike on Longfield Road.

Ambulance crews attended and the motorcylist was taken to Tunbridge Wells hospital after suffering injuries to his legs and hands.

The carriageway was partially blocked while emergency services worked at the scene.

Just after 9.15am the road reopened, but traffic remained slow.
