Suspected burglar charged after raids on cafe, church and vets in Tunbridge Wells

A suspected burglar has been charged after raids on a cafe, a church and a vets in the Tunbridge Wells area.

Cash, food, drink and electronic devices were stolen in break-ins reported at Langton village recreation ground, St Luke's Church and a vets in Eridge Road between August 18 and September 7.

David Baker of Charlton Way, Tunbridge Wells was arrested last Wednesday and was charged with three counts of burglary and possession of MDMA the following day.

The 39-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates Court on Friday, where he was released on bail to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 22.
