A charity challenge to promote disabled golf comes to Tunbridge Wells this month.
Kicking off from 2pm at The Nevill Golf Club in Benhall Mill Road on Monday, August 15 the day will raise money for The Silverlining, a charity which helps people affected by brain injuries and their families.
Money will also go towards supporting the organisation's service users to undertake a volunteering trip to help impoverished communities in Namibia, Africa.
Also taking part will be Graeme Mazur, a golf enthusiast from Tunbridge Wells who was involved in a crash in 2000 which left him with a severe brain trauma and paralysis of his left side.
He has had to relearn to play the game with just one arm and has since become the first disabled registered PGA level 1 trainee golf coach in the UK.
He will be playing at the nonstop course from dawn till dusk.
Places at the challenge cost £50 for single players or £180 for a team of four, this includes a meal and prize giving ceremony.
Book places by emailing admin@thesilverlining.org.uk.
