Two fire engines were called to a town centre about a bank caught alight.
The small blaze happened outside Nationwide in Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells, at around 9.20pm last night.
Crews were called after reports signage had caught on fire.
They spent just under an hour at the scene and were joined by a technical rescue unit who wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire before checking for remaining hotspots.
There were no injuries reported, and the cause is believed to be accidental.
