Drivers are warned of delays in Speldhurst after a lorry hit a tree.

The crash was reported to have happened shortly after 1.10pm in Speldhurst Hill and police were called.

Workers from Kent County Council Highways were also alerted because the collision had led to the tree's roots being exposed.

Workers from the authority will now assess the scene to ensure it is safe.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
