Delays in Tunbridge Wells as SECAmb ambulance crashes in Pembury Road

An ambulance crashed and left the road today in Tunbridge Wells.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident in Pembury Road, near Calverley Park at around 5.40am today.

It left the road and ended up on a grass verge, blocking a path.

The ambulance wasn't on a call-out, and no-one was being carried in it.

One crew member was taken to the Tunbridge Wells hospital as a precaution.

There is little damage to the ambulance, and it should be back in service soon.
