A man who sold drugs to fund a lavish lifestyle, splashing out on designer clothing and trainers, has been jailed for three years.
Daniel Collins, 36, from Tunbridge Wells, pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court to possessing cocaine with intent to supply, possessing cannabis and criminal property, namely cash.
On April 9, patrolling officers with the Tunbridge Wells Community Policing Team spoke to Collins, who was parked in his Audi A3 on Grove Hill Road.
Collins appeared nervous and suspecting he was involved in selling drugs, officers searched his car, finding two mobile phone and £360 in cash. He also surrendered six packets of cocaine.
When arrested, investigators found text messages about selling cocaine.
A bowl of cocaine with an estimated street value of £1,280, £2,260 in cash, two watches, designers clothing and trainers were seized from his Upper Grosvenor Road home.
Officers also discovered around seven grams of cannabis, plastic deal bags and a set of scales.
District Commander for Tunbridge Wells, Chief Insp Pete Steenhuis, said: "It is apparent that this drug dealer was making sufficient profits to fund an expensive lifestyle.
"My proactive officers have the skills to identify drug dealers operating on our streets and as a result Collins was swiftly brought to justice.
"We will of course be applying for confiscation of the cash and designer items as proceeds of crime."
Collins was jailed on Tuesday, May 26.
