DETECTIVES have released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to in connection to a stabbing in a Kent town.
The incident occurred in Mount Pleasant Road in Tunbridge Wells town centre on January 5 at around 11.30pm when a 23-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his stomach.
The victim received surgery for his injury and is now making a good recovery. It is expected that he will be able to leave hospital within the next few days.
Seven people in the area and arrested in connection with the incident have been given police bail while inquiries continue.
Police would like to speak to the two men in the picture, shown standing in the door of the public house opposite from where the incident happened, as they may have information that could help the investigation.
Det Sgt Richard Pringle said: "I hope that one or both of the men in the picture will contact us as soon as possible, or if anyone has any information about who they are we would be pleased to hear from them.”
Officers can be contacted on 01732 379217 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
