Police got more than they bargained for when they stopped a car with faulty tail lights - arresting one man for having class A drugs.
A passenger was detained on suspicion of possessing cocaine and cannabis after officers patrolling Tunbridge Wells noticed a vehicle with no reverse lights illuminating in a car park in John Street .
They approached the car at around 9pm on Friday and, upon speaking with the occupants, found what is believed to be a quantity of cocaine and cannabis.
This led to the search of a nearby property where further drugs, believed to cannabis, were seized.
The passenger, a 31-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells, was arrested in connection to this and bailed, pending further enquiries, until Monday, March 31.
The driver of the car received a caution for possessing cannabis.
