Suspected county line dealer charged after Volvo pulled over in Victoria Road, Southborough

A suspected county lines drug dealer has appeared in court after 27 wraps of cocaine were seized from a car by police.

Officers spotted a Volvo they believed to be involved in the supply of drugs, parked in Victoria Road, Southborough on Tuesday.

After speaking to the driver, they detained him for a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A black drawstring bag containing 27 wraps of cocaine was recovered from the centre console, along with a mobile phone and a quantity of cash. The man was arrested and taken into custody.

Xhojs Bilali, of no fixed address, was later charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and acquiring criminal property (namely the seized cash).

The 26-year-old pleaded guilty at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday May 24.

He was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
