A family was given an early Christmas gift as a world-renowned retailer dropped off a lorry load of real snow at their home.
Helen Haggertay, 49, stumbled upon one of TK Maxx's exclusive White Christmas snow globes hidden in Tunbridge Wells store two weeks ago.
The two-foot globe unlocked the biggest possible Christmas gift for the lowest possible price as depicted in TK Maxx’s Christmas TV advert – an actual White Christmas, for absolutely nothing.
Having found a snow globe, Helen gifted the experience to her sister, Louise Migliaccio, 42, and her partner, Richard Longhurst, 46, who received an extra-special visit from a team of TK Maxx Snow Experts at the weekend.
This helped transform their family home with equipment usually used in the film industry – plus eight cubic metres of real snow.
Friends, family and neighbours were all invited down to share the magical experience. Louise and her partner have five daughters, ranging from nine to eighteen years old.
Helen said: “The whole day was amazing, exciting and magical and has brought so many people together, friends, family and several generations of our family. Everyone has absolutely loved it.
"It was really exciting to find the snow globe, as soon as I picked it up people surrounded me! What a fantastic experience and so realistic.”
Deborah Dolce, Group Brand & Marketing Director, at TK Maxx said: “We wanted to create a real, magical experience for our shoppers this year, something that would be great fun and let everyone across the country join in. A snowy version of a golden ticket.
“We know that lots of people dream of a White Christmas and it’s a special way to bring friends and family together. We are celebrating our big gifts at small prices on a ridiculous scale with this once-in-a lifetime gift.”
