Firefighters had to free a woman trapped in wreckage following a three-car crash in Tunbridge Wells this afternoon.

Three crews worked with paramedics and police at the scene of the smash in Forest Road at the junction of Bayham Road.

One vehicle was on its side and firefighters had to create space to enable paramedics to assess a woman who was trapped.

A Kent Police spokesman confirmed the road had been cleared and reopened by 1.51pm.
