Several people have been injured in a four-car crash that closed the M25.

One of the cars overturned as a result of the collision before junction 6 for Godstone, Surrey, on the clockwise carriageway.

The road was shut for 30 minutes just after 1pm and fire services, police and ambulances were on the scene.

Congestion is stretching back to junction 5 for the M26, although two lanes are now open.
