KENT Police today renewed their appeal for information following a road crash in which a woman was seriously injured.
Two cars, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Vauxhall Astra, were involved in the smash on the A21 on Wednesday between the Kippings Cross roundabout and the Longfield Road roundabout at Tunbridge Wells.
The woman driver and two female passengers in the Astra and the male driver of the Corsa, were taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital at Tunbridge Wells.
One of the passengers had to be freed from the Astra by Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
The condition of the driver of the Astra, a woman from Deal, is currently described as "serious but stable". The injuries to the others are described by police as minor.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw an articulated goods lorry pull into a lay-by, either immediately before or after, the collision.
The only details of the lorry that are known are that is possibly blue and the sign writing on the vehicle says, or is similar to, "British Jepson".
Police have now have identified the white Volvo lorry mentioned in an earlier appeal.
The police serious collision unit can be contacted on 01622 798537.
