The Hoard which runs The Pantiles Arcade in Tunbridge Wells has been joined by a new dealer.
Mark Hill was welcomed to the premises by Hoard chairman Eric Knowles, the presenter of BBC's Restoration Roadshow.
The Hoard has been operating at The Pantiles for 18 months with the intention of creating a high-end outlet for top-of-the-range antiques outside of the usual London circuit.
Mr Hill is joining not only Mr Knowles, but also other antiques experts: Jeroen and Jacob Markies, Richard Price (from the Antiques Roadshow) and David Hickmet, all of whom are currently selling fine items from a newly fitted premises.
Mr Hill said: "I'm incredibly excited to be opening a new retail space selling modern design, glass, ceramics and much, much more.
"I'm delighted and honoured to be joining such 'top drawer' dealers selling at The Pantiles Arcade."
Mr Hill's shop, just inside the door, offers mid-century modern glass, ceramics, and a selection of pieces from his own private collection. Prices start at £75, with a wide range in the £100 to £400 band.
Mr Hill said: "The antiques market has changed dramatically and now pieces that were made during the 1970s can fetch many times more than a piece made in the 1770s."
