A council has appealed for help tracing the yobs responsible for a spate of graffiti in Tunbridge Wells.
Tags have been found daubed on a number of car parks, including Crescent Road and outside the Great Hall on Mount Pleasant Avenue.
Clean up costs for the latest damage are estimated at between £5,000 and £7,000.
Cllr Alan McDermott, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council cabinet member said: "This is criminal damage and it’s costing Council Tax payers money because it has to be cleared up.
"We aim to keep the car parks up to a reasonable standard and it is very unpleasant for visitors to have to park in a place which looks unpleasant and is not welcoming."
Rosemarie Bennett, parking manager said: "We’re trying to keep the costs of dealing with this latest wave of graffiti down by doing as much of the work as possible ourselves but this still means staff time and resources are being used. If you see people behaving suspiciously when you’re in the car parks please report it."
