A popular discount store has opened its latest branch.
Home and beauty giants Savers welcomed customers through the doors of its new store in Tunbridge Wells.
The retail company added the shop to the Royal Victoria Place complex in the town centre.
Store manager Jade Wigman says she is overwhelmed with the amount of support she has received.
“Thank you so, so much to everyone who has taken the time to message me, ring me, share my post and write on my wall,” she explained on Facebook.
“I am truly humbled by all the support and love shown.
“I’ve had a brilliant first day – the shop is beautiful and so I feel very proud.”
The store, now one of 527 in the UK, opened on Friday.
The brand opened its first shop in Durham back in 1988, and is known for its discounted items on toiletries and home accessories.
It will be open in Tunbridge Wells from 9am to 6pm from Monday until Saturday, and from 10.30am to 4.30 pm on Sundays.
The mall announced earlier this summer it would be one of four new additions to the shopping centre – alongside other businesses Mooch, Thirsty Fish and Retro Stuff.
Speaking previously, centre manager at Royal Victoria Place, Nicky Blanchard, added: “It’s brilliant to be opening our doors to four new retailers.
“From budget-friendly beauty to quirky gifts, there’s a wide range of new products on offer for shoppers to enjoy throughout the summer and beyond.”
