Wristbands worn by the stars at some of the world's biggest music events are made a lot closer to home than you might think.
Artists at the VO5 NME Awards held at the O2 Academy in Brixton on Wednesday, February 14 donned wristbands made right here in Kent by ID&C, a company based at Decimus Park in Kingstanding Way, Tunbridge Wells.
Famous musicians such as Liam Gallagher, Skepta and Dua Lipa were among those wearing the company's wristband as they attended the awards ceremony.
Craig Bennett, head of growth ID&C, said: “We’re huge music fans so working with such a well-respected brand that is steeped in music culture is a great thing.
“Everyone at NME wears a wristband or one of our laminate passes. Over the years we’ve seen the likes of Noel Gallagher, the Arctic Monkeys, and Blur, all wear our products. It’s pretty cool to see.”
ID&C also provided wristbands to the BRIT awards ceremony on Wednesday, February 21.
The company, founded in 1995, was the first to introduce fabric wristbands to the UK at Glastonbury festival in 1999 but their wristbands and now used at music awards, festivals, and sporting events around the world, including the Grammy's, The Ryder Cup, and many others.
ID&C also provides passes to events of any size and can be bought on their website at www.idcband.com.
