Tunbridge Wells: Firefighters called to large blaze in Colebrook Industrial Estate

Firefighters were called to a blaze in Tunbridge Wells this afternoon.

Crews discovered a large amount of burning plastic waste when they arrived at the Colebrook Industrial Estate shortly after 3.30pm.

More than 15 people called 999 to report the large cloud of smoke seen above the neighbouring North Farm Indistural Estate.

Police were called due to the risk to public safety, but no roads were closed and officers have now left the scene.

The fire is not being treated as suspicious and fire crews left the estate shortly after 4pm.

There were no reported injuries.
