Fire crews were called to North Farm Lane in Tunbridge Wells yesterday after reports of static machinery alight.
Three fire engines and a height vehicle attended and crews used main jets, compressed air foam, and water from a local hydrant to extinguish the fire, which had also spread to some nearby waste.
No casualties were reported, and the cause is believed to be accidental.
The first call came in at 11.30am and the incident was over by 2.45pm.
