The A21 near Tunbridge Wells has reopened.
Police were called to an accident close to the Ashdene Petrol Station earlier this afternoon.
It happened at about 4.30pm and the road was shut in both directions.
Congestion tailed back to Church Lane and Silver Hill, but the road reopened after 7pm.
