A teenage girl sitting on a park bench was allegedly approached by a stranger and sexually assaulted.

The incident happened on Sunday (March 9) in the Grosvenor and Hilbert Park in Tunbridge Wells at around 12.17pm.

Police were called and made an arrest.

Pyza Slawomir, 53, of no fixed address, was later charged with two counts of sexual assault.

The second charge is linked to reports of a person being approached and allegedly assaulted in High Brooms Road in Southborough on October 22.

Slawomir will appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 10).
