Man dies in death leap

POLICE are today still making enquiries following the death of a 21-year-old Tonbridge man who jumped from the top floor of a multi-storey car park.

The tragedy happened in Vale Road, Tunbridge Wells, on Friday evening. The man, who has not yet been named, plunged from the building at about 5.30pm.

The car park is above the Safeway supermarket and overlooks Tunbridge Wells railway station. The coroner for north-west Kent has been informed and an inquest will be held.
