Man dies in train tragedy

A MAN was killed today when he was struck by a train near High Brooms railway station between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "The victim was not carrying any form of identification. Our inquiries are continuing. The death is not being treated as suspicious."

Emergency services sealed off the area and train services on the London-Hastings line were severely disrupted. A temporary bus service via High Brooms has been set up. The tragedy happened at about 11.20am.
