A motorcyclist was injured after a town centre crash this evening.

Emergency services have been dealing with the accident in Tunbridge Wells since 6.10pm.

Firefighters, police and paramedics were called to Mount Pleasant Road opposite the town hall following the crash.

Police said a motorcycle and a car had collided with the motorcyclist suffering "minor injuries". He was taken to hospital for treatment by paramedics.

The road was closed at the junction with Crescent Road.
