POLICE who called to a fight at Longview Way, off Liptraps Lane, Tunbridge Wells, shortly before 10pm on Sunday found a local man had suffered severe head injuries.

The man, who has not been named, was taken to the town's Kent and Sussex Hospital where he has been detained for treatment. His condition has been described by police as "serious".

Four men have been arrested and are assisting police with their inquiries into the incident.
