A fast-food chain branch will be reopening next month after a month-long closure.
McDonald’s at Tunbridge Wells Business Park in Dowding Way shut on Monday, March 3 to undergo a renovation.
It is not yet known what additions will be added to the restaurant.
The branch will be reopening on Friday, April 4.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “Our Tunbridge Wells restaurant is currently undergoing a refurbishment as part of our Convenience of the Future programme.
“The revamp will improve the experience of both our customers and our restaurant team, and we look forward to welcoming our customers back in early-mid April.”
It has been a busy time for the chain in Kent. Its branch in Week Street, Maidstone, is also set to undergo an upgrade.
Bosses submitted plans at the end of last year to refurbish the shopfront with new cladding and redecorate the window frames, doors and signage.
McDonald’s opened a branch at Swanley Square Shopping Centre in November.
And a new drive-thru restaurant at Folkestone Services also opened at the start of this year.
It was built as part of a £2 million expansion to upgrade the site.
