The branch is owned and operated by franchisee Ali El Hajj and has undergone a “Convenience of the Future” design.

The restaurant revamp programme was designed to deliver a better and faster customer experience.

A new restaurant layout will be combined with “the latest technology to create a more seamless and enjoyable experience”.

The branch will still have the traditional walk-in and Drive Thru sections; however, both the kitchen and dining areas have been redesigned – as well as the staff room.

There will be dedicated areas for the different ways to order and the front counter has been removed, which means there will be less congestion around touch screens and shorter queues.

“...the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our restaurant team.”

There will also be a separate courier waiting area and entrance.

Ali El Hajj, who owns and operates five McDonald’s restaurants in the county, said: “I’m proud to reinvest in our Tunbridge Wells restaurant.

“The dining area is more contemporary, and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers, leading to a better experience for everyone.

“It’s exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Tunbridge Wells restaurant and I’m confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our restaurant team as these will help make their jobs a little easier.”

The branch will be reopening at 11am on Wednesday, April 9.
