Film fanatics can catch a new romcom shot in Kent beamed to their screens on streaming giant Netflix.

Taranveer Singh's Tuesdays and Fridays, filmed partly at Grade II-listed Danemore Park at Speldhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, stars newcomers Anmol Dhillon and Jhataleka Malhotra.

In a twist on traditional relationships, a lawyer and writer strike up an agreement to be romantic partners, but only two days a week.

It joins a catalogue of flicks filmed on the Georgian country house's 80 acres of land, including The Royals and Catastrophe.

Tuesdays and Fridays was released on Netflix UK on July 15, following delays due to the Covid pandemic, according to the Kent Film Office.

It comes after Oscar winner Danny Boyle's new Sex Pistols series was filmed in three areas of the county, based on the lives of the punk rock band.
