Police are investigating after a newsagent in Kent was burgled last night.

It is believed that money was stolen from the One Stop shop in Rusthall High Street during the robbery.

Officers were called at 6.07am to a report of a the incident at the premises.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "No injuries have been reported but a quantity of money is believed to have been taken. Officers are currently at the scene carrying out enquiries."
