Two men have denied aggravated criminal damage after 20 buildings were covered in Polish football hooligan graffiti in Tunbridge Wells.
Sebastian Tancula, 26, of no fixed address and Damian Filipek, 26, of Beech Street, Tunbridge Wells, appeared in court on Saturday.
Residents woke on Friday morning to find bright pink lettering plastered over buildings reading Wisla Sharks and Official Hooligans.
Wisla Sharks hooligans are a group that follow the Polish football team Wisla Krakow.
Police arrested both men in an area near the town's train station on Thursday evening on suspicion of writing the slogans.
Appearing before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court, the men both denied the offences and were remanded in custody until their next court hearing, which is scheduled for December 19 at Maidstone Crown Court.
