A man in his 70s has died following a crash this morning where the air ambulance was called.
Police joined paramedics and an air ambulance crew in Chapman Way, near the junction with North Farm Road, at around 8.20am this morning.
On arrival, officers discovered a Tonbridge man had been hit by a grey Land Rover Freelander.

Two ambulances and two cars were sent to the scene.
Eyewitnesses saw paramedics carrying out CPR for up to 50 minutes on the man before he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
The driver, a man in his 50s from Tunbridge Wells, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
He has been released, pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson from Kent Police said: "Officers are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and would urge those who have dash cam footage from the area around the time of the collision to contact them."
