A MAN has died in hospital five days after being in collision with a single-decker bus.

The incident happened on Vale Road, close to the junction with London Road, Tunbridge Wells, at about 12.55pm last Friday.

The elderly man, from the village of Lamberhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, died in hospital on Wednesday. He had been on foot when the accident occurred.

He has not yet been named. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 600970.
