A person was taken to hospital after they were struck by a car.

It happened at around 6pm yesterday in London Road on the junction with Speldhurst Road, in Southborough, near Tunbridge Wells.

Kent Police attended alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).

The driver of the car stopped after the collision.

The pedestrian's injuries are not thought to be serious.

Police were in attendance until 8.10pm.
