Police are keeping their eyes peeled after the alleged theft of vegetables from a Tunbridge Wells pub.

The incident, which took place at the Beacon Pub in Tea Garden Lane, was reported to officers yesterday.

Between 5.15am and 5.20am yesterday morning a delivery of fruit and veg was reportedly stolen from outside the premises by a man and woman who arrived on bicycles.

A Kent Police spokesman said officers are pursuing lines of inquiry and reviewing the footage.
