Drivers will be unable to access a residential street for 21 days while a pothole is fixed.
Woodland Road, in Tunbridge Wells, shut today after a large void appeared in the road.
While the damage is corrected, cars will be unable to drive between the junctions of Cambrian Road and Holmwood Road.
Kent County Council Highways confirmed the damaged road wasn't reported by members of the public.
Drivers will have to seek alternative routes until it reopens on Wednesday, January 8 at 7pm.
