A train line will be closed for nine days so the track can be replaced as part of a billion pound project.
The line between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells will close from Saturday, October 22 to Sunday, October 30.
During the half-term period, the track in Wadhurst tunnel will be replaced and the embankments will be stabilised to prevent landslips.
The work forms part of an ongoing project under the £1.25bn South East Upgrade to help improve performance and reliability.
Replacement buses will run for passengers needing to use the route. The timetable can be found here.
If you do need to travel and don’t want to use the replacement bus, then tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the Southeastern Highspeed services between Ashford and London St Pancras, and Southeastern services between Ashford and London via Tonbridge.
The rail company is advising those needing to make a journey to the affected destinations to plan ahead and allow for extra time.
