A restaurant in Tunbridge Wells has officially launched its refurbished terrace with an evening of jazz, champagne and cocktails.

Musical trio, The Cool Jazz, set the tone for guests at Thackeray's unique event on Thursday evening.

The restaurant regained its Michelin star over three years ago and this year's refurbishment is part of the branch's mission to expand.

The London Road venue also hopes to invite businesses to host meetings in the near future.

Thackeray's new-look terrace is a garden patio with an outside bar and lounge seating.

As well as offering a variety of menus, the restaurant now offers al fresco dining and drinking in the newly refurbished area.
