A road was left partially blocked after a cyclist fell from their bike.

Police were called at 8am after a report that someone had come off their bike on the A264 at Ashurst, near Tunbridge Wells.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and the cyclist was taken to a local hospital for medical attention to an arm injury.

A car was reportedly involved in the incident but police have not confirmed this.

The A264 Ashurst Hill was partially blocked for around three hours afterwards, affecting traffic between East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells.
